sustainable livelihoods. Its vulnerability to
conflict and disaster; the dilemmas faced by
those undertaking housing reconstruction; the
success and failure of current housing
reconstruction approaches and the planning
necessary to implement them are the major points
to be taken into consideration when tackling
this issue. Al Hashmia and its strategic
partners have the knowledge and the ability to
